It’s that time of year when we think back on the season gone by and recognise club members for their on field and off field contributions to the club.
Coach of the Year:
Junior or Senior coach. Measured on such aspects as success of team, coach’s level of commitment & ability, improvement of team from previous years or from beginning to end of season etc
Most Improved Male Player & Female Player:
Junior or Senior player who is deemed to be the most improved throughout the current season. (Two awards, one male and one female)
Best Club Person:
The person who has made a positive contribution to the club throughout the season, up front or behind the scenes. On and/or off the field.
Pat Goodridge Award for Services to the Club:
Pat was the founding Secretary of the original Pirates club, in 1931. She worked tirelessly for the success and growth of hockey at both a club and WA state level, never wanting recognition for her efforts. This is the most prestigious club award presented to the person who has done the most for the club throughout the entire year, before and during the playing season, working to improve it by getting involved in the many aspects, on or off the field. Playing or supporting, basically exhibiting dedication to the club and its members.
Please forward nominations, with a summary of reasons and achievements to the Secretary: sec@cuhc.org.au by September 21st.
