Junior Hockey Program 2018 (Updated 2017-01-14)

Curtin University Hockey Club is running an introductory hockey program for years 1-6 in Term 1 2018!

A “skills in action” approach to maximise participation in a fun environment. An introduction to hockey with an emphasis on development to cover:

  • Basic skills, stick on ball, passing, receiving, and travelling
  • Teamwork, tackling, defence, and scoring

Dates: Beginning February 20th, 2018
Time: 4:00pm – 5:00pm
Day: Tuesday
Length: 6-8 weeks depending on holidays
Equipment: Participants will receive a stick, ball, bag and shin pads as a part of registration. Must source their own mouth guard.
Cost: $85 per child
Location: Perth Hockey Stadium, Curtin University
Coaches: Coaches will have working with children checks and several of our Australian, Australian Junior, WA State and Premier League players will be assisting with the program.
