Minkey (Kindy to Yr 4) is an original Hockey Australia initiative supported by Hockey WA and Curtin University Hockey Club (Pirates). Minkey was developed to introduce children to a modified version of full field Hockey. The smaller fields and mixed teams allow players to develop good hockey and team skills prior to playing full field hockey in Year 5.
Our Minkey program is run on a Friday afternoon at Perth Hockey Stadium, allowing the kids access to same field that the Kookaburras and Hockeyroos train and play on.
