The Prem 2 men commenced their campaign at PHS on Saturday, with a disappointing start to Season 2025, but will look to bounce back next week against reds.

Additionally an Intra-Prem Women travelled to Bunbury for two fixtures over the weekend. Highlighted by a late Q4 equaliser.

Vale John Nettleton, At the request of the family

Vale John Nettleton,

At the request of the family, Curtin University Hockey Club have respectfully waited to make the sad announcement of the passing of John Nettleton.

John had been a supporter, player, President, Coach of Mens Premier League teams, manager, umpire and a mentor to many, many players at our club over several decades.

He has represented Western Australia both as a player and as an umpire. He was a Hockey WA Award of Merit recipient and was well respected within the hockey community.

The family has asked for no flowers, instead that to pay your respects to John, if you wish please donate to the Royal Flying Doctor service. https://www.flyingdoctor.org.au/donate/

John will be missed greatly by not only our members, his Pirates Masters team mates and the hockey community.

The Curtin University Hockey Club sends the family our sincere condolences and strength for the coming weeks, and months.

Congrats to the Premier Women squad, who won their

Congrats to the Premier Women squad, who won their first pre-season match today against Melville in a 5 quarter thriller, winning 3-2.
Which is testament to everyone's hard work and dedication shown in preseason.

This morning the Men's Prem 2 Team also had their first win for the pre-season, 2-1 against Freo.
