To support Reconciliation Week (starting Tuesday 2

To support Reconciliation Week (starting Tuesday 27th May) CUHC were privileged yesterday afternoon to have Trevor Walley perform a Welcome to Country at PHS. Trevor is a Whadjuk traditional custodian with family connections across Noongar country, from Moora and Albany through to Jerramungup and Kellerberrin. Trevor shares and teaches Aboriginal culture and heritage. He worked in eco-education for over 40 years and has an abundance of knowledge of the Noongar seasons and history of native plants and bush foods.
The birds joining in and “talking” to Trevor was amazing. Thank you Trevor.

Curtin University Hockey Club are committed to reconciliation and strengthening respectful relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

Reconciliation begins with actions in our daily lives where we live, work, socialise and where we play our sport.

This Sunday the 25th of May at 325pm on PHS-1 Trevor Walley will deliver a Welcome To Country to open National Reconciliation Week for our club.
